Elizabeth Clayman grew up in South Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains spending her summers on Cape Cod. She has a BA in English from Mount Holyoke College and University College London, and an MA in Fine Art from the University of Pennsylvania. She worked in Archaeological museums in the US and the UK drawing artifacts for academic publications. She works in a variety of mediums and is influenced by natural forms, cellular structures, fragmentation and patterns.
